This exciting tour combines a "whales guaranteed" wildlife cruise with Alaska's premier salmon bake.

On this excursion you will:

 

• Following a motorcoach ride to scenic Auke Bay, you will board a water jet-powered catamaran specially designed for wildlife viewing.
• Relax, as your captain guides you through the island-studded waters of Stephen's Passage.
• Have the onboard naturalist explain the behavior and habitat of wildlife you may encounter, including humpback and killer whales, sea lions, porpoise, harbor seals, bald eagles and other wildlife species.
• Learn the operators of this excursion guarantee you will see a whale. If not, you will receive a $100 cash refund ($50 refund per child) as you disembark. But don't anticipate a refund; in the past nine years whales have been sighted on every trip!
• Once back ashore; a motorcoach is waiting to take you to the Gold Creek Salmon Bake.
• Enjoy an outdoor feast of alder-smoked salmon and barbecued chicken and ribs, along with rice pilaf, baked beans, salads, corn bread, and a selection of beverages. Beer and wine are also available for an additional charge.
• Roast marshmallows over a crackling fire, walk the trail to a waterfall, and enjoy many other features of this beautiful rainforest setting.
